Hello, and welcome to The Pitcher & Table!  I’m so glad you stopped by!  My name is Heather Thornton, and I am first of all a Christian, wife, stay-at-home mom to three wonderful children, and also a very avid and enthusiastic DIY-er!!  It all started a few years back when I put the Pinterest app on my iPhone!  Who would guess?  I became interested in making nice but comfortable and practical spaces for my family and was able to channel my creative nature and decorate my home at the same time.  I love updating spaces with paint, slipcovers, and even building pieces of furniture in a cost-effective way, and the longer I go, the more I learn, and I just couldn’t help but share our journey with you!  There will be home decor, do-it-yourself projects, makeovers, building, and even recipes and life inspiration in the mix - everything that we love about home, and I hope in some way it will be both a help and a blessing to you!!
